imess presents optical measurement systems for valve and suspension springs
imess GmbH develops optical measurement and test systems for the international spring industry. On this years‘ Wire the company introduces their solutions regarding the 3D geometry of valve and suspensions springs.
Each respective measurement systems ensures the quality of the spring, saves setup time and documets the results in great detail. A taught-in master spring or CAD files can be used to evaluate the geometry. The measurement results are stored and a 3D model of the real spring is created. These files can be stored as Excel readable format and subsequently read in a CAD or simulation programm.
The system F435 measures the e1-, e2-measures, the diameters and the pitch gap of valve springs. It may be used inline or as stand-alone system. The results are depicted graphically and as table.
The laser system F880 has been developed to measure suspension springs. The measurement provides the entire 3D geometry.
The interface to the coiler reduces the setup time drastically by handing over the respective spring geometry data to correct the contour automatically.
