The extension of the imess SMP inline provides compact and fast measurement of the three most important characteristics: width, thickness and camber of the sheet strip.
The camber exclusive version is already installed and running smoothly. Thus, the system may be enhanced by two more functions. The width can be measured in line with an additional sensor. The thickness, however, may be measured either tactilely while the strip is on hold which is highly accurate or measured with a laser sensor during production which is slightly less accurate.
Each addition can be customized according to conditions on site, placing the sensors either in front or behind the camber measurement.
The imess software displays all relevant values and ensures their consistent documentation. Customers already received a first impression during the BlechExpo 2017.
