The system uses a high-precision laser sensor to detect the natural coil set of material samples. If the thickness is known, the twist can also be determined in the same process.
The prepared strip is fixed at the top and hangs freely in front of a flat, vertical plate. An optical sensor is positioned at the defined height to measure the material deflection.
Twist Measurement:
If the material thickness is known, the twist or torsion can also be measured in the same measuring process.
